Description of Event

This 2 day workshop is intended for educators who have experience utilizing the NHA™ and are looking to “Notch it Up” in their school setting. Attendees will be challenged to grow in their understanding and application of the approach. You will be equipped with a deeper understanding and have the right “lens” to start the school year off with a powerful social curriculum.

Should I Attend this Workshop?

The NHA™ is being utilized in thousands of classrooms across the country. Many teachers have found success by making a paradigm shift towards seeing greatness. However, without support, personal development and encouragement, it is common to revert back to our default setting of trying to manage behavior. The more focus is put on behavior and not the EFFORT and CHARACTER of the students; the more likely one misses the evidence of success and notices misbehavior instead. This workshop will help your growth towards cultivating greatness in your classroom, develop new ideas for the upcoming school year and network with other like-minded professionals desiring the same. Through collaboration, attendees will have the opportunity to share successes, solve common problems and promote personal and professional growth.

**This is not an introductory workshop. Attendees must have had training in the NHA™, read the Inner Wealth Initiative, and/or utilized the NHA™ in their school setting.**

Agenda

Day 1

8:30-11:30 Becoming the Approach: Moving from the behavior level to the heart level. Seeing, recognizing and cultivating greatness.

11:30-12:30 Lunch

12:30-3:00 Becoming the Approach: Overcoming obstacles (balancing test scores with the social emotional needs of your students, managing change, withstanding the push for an evidence based curriculum and data collection, challenging students/parents, etc)

 Day 2

Day 2 8:30-11:30 Becoming the Approach: Ideas to get your students, parents and staff involved.

11:30-12:30 Lunch

12:30-3:00 Being the Approach: Leading with Greatness. How to lead by example and build momentum.
